Enhanced 911 is an important corporate consideration for organizations of all types that have adopted IP Telephony or are still determining their migration path. The idea of providing "near-real time" location information for a mobile workforce and maintaining compliance with state laws is a challenge.  In this session you will learn about the solutions available that integrate with the Avaya Communication Manager to automatically capture and manage location information for both static TDM and nomadic IP users. DCC’s product, The Communicator integrates with Avaya Communication Manager to send messages via phone, voicemail, email, text, etc to designated recipients based on the type of emergency or situation within the company. The company customizes the message and can choose from a variety of distribution lists depending on the message they would like to send.
